Electronic Communication- Needs and Advantages

Communication is a backbone of every planning, management, and implementation. Without that nothing can be done in time and in sequence. To do a specific work communication play an important part. It is required in all departments such as- finance department, personnel department, sales department, purchase department, shareholders, the establishment of public relations, market research, government sector and many more. In the late 20th century, the electronic communication made the workplace more sophisticated. Today, everybody needs a foolproof communication system regardless of terrestrial location. This is the main reason that telecommunicators are using electronic devices such as- spectrum analyzer, high range antennas, and other transmission and receiving components.

The need of electronic communication system-
Earlier, the social events were organized just to communicate with a large number of people or to give some important information. But now the electronic communication has taken the place of those social events. Everyone get updated information on their smartphones of everything happening in the world. The electronic communication is the major part of the developed as well as the underdeveloped countries. The difference is in the range and quality of service.

Advantages of Electronic Communication
Quick transmission- The transmission through these waves is one of the easiest and foolproof ways to communicate across the globe. It requires a few seconds to send a important information via electronic media because it supports quick transmission.

Cover wide range- Electronic communication is the main reason for globalization. Now, the whole world has become a global village and everyone can communicate with anybody at any time.

Needless expense- Without any doubt, this communication system is cost-effective and saves time. You need not spend hundreds of dollars just to call or for a text message. Social media reduces the distance and lowers down the communication expenses.

It is concluded that there are no bounds of advantages of the communication system. The communication is responsible for advancement in the global trade and investment activities. For more information, click here.

Some Basic Components of Electronic Communications System

In the electronic communication, transmission, reception, and processing of different signals that carry information or data are included. The communication is between one or more locations around the globe. Some of the basic components required for a successful electronic communication are- transmitter, channel or medium through which the information travels, receiver, RF spectrum analyzer, and, noise.

In the communication system, the input signal (that can be a human voice or an information signal) also known as an analog signal or digital signal acts as the input signals. These input signals are fed in the transmitter. It is important to add here that the information in the input is signal is transmitted in the coded form. The system is said to be reliable and effective when errors are minimized in the process.

Transmitter- As discussed above, a transmitter is the collection of the various number of electronic devices that converts the original signal (baseband signal) into the encoded form. For example, the transmitted signal is passed through the radio transmitter that accepts the information signal and converts it into radio frequency signal. Radio signals are required if the communication or transmission is done to cover the long distance. To check the performance and the strength of the signal, RF spectrum analyzers are required. It shows the strength as well as the noise level of the signal. The signal always travels on a specific frequency. To broadcast a signal either the analog or digital modulations are used.

Communications channel- The channel is the medium through which the signals can be sent from one place to another. The channel can be a copper wire, fiber optics or satellite systems. The channels can be a radio wave and a free space also. It all depends on the nature of the modulation and frequency which is used while communication.

Receiver-
The receiver works similarly to the transmitter. The receiver also includes a lot of different transmission mediums and then converts those signals or decode them into the original form. Sometimes the signal gets corrupted or attenuated by certain noise signals, but the receiver removes the attenuation up to some extent.
